Purchased for $11.99
New Price $59.99
Savings of $48.00
Last Christmas I took my two cats home with me. One carrier was tight quarters with our big guy Gulliver hogging most of the space. Here's how it went, poop=vomit=more poop and more vomit=unpleasant car ride for all involved. Needless to say, I needed another pet carrier. Glad I kept an eye out because this is nearly identical (holes on side sunrise vs waves) to our other carrier and it is much easier to get cats in through the top than traditional front door.
If you want one just like it...

Productive Day
It is so hard to find time for blogging, exercising, and cooking dinner. I work pretty much 10:00-9:30 PM in two different childcare positions, so those are the three things that are most put on the back burner. I'd like to do them more. Today, I have walked (with 2 1/2lb weights in each hand) a little over 3 miles and at the moment am writing this blog. The plan is to make Thai Chicken Pizza for dinner tonight courtesy of Rachel Ray. I had to find adequate duck sauce which I found at Hen House.
Finished season two of Sister Wives. I don't know how they do it. I'd rather be a wife with four husbands than a sister wife.
Well, off to the showers. One other thing, donate things you don't want to a secondhand store. Nowadays, you don't even have to load it up, just call the store and they will send a truck.

Pre-Cycle Insomnia
Right before my monthly time, I usually have a few nights where I can't sleep. I liken it to my body telling me it's my last chance to get pregnant, as if... I noticed a lot of people read my blog from postcrossing, thanks to you, I feel motivated to keep this more current. The cats are quiet (as I wrote that one jumped and grunt-meowed) and my husband is completely out. He never has trouble sleeping. The computer is the last place one should be if they are trying to get to sleep, as the light reduces the melatonin in our body, causing us to get less sleep, but it is the easiest place to write and doesn't give you a hand cramp as quickly. So yes, if you were wondering I now have two cats. When I was, in my head, more of a dog person and a dog was what I pined for in MN. Both cats came into my life, I did not choose them, they chose me and I think it is better that way. I have an orange swirled tabby named Gulliver Rambo Lucifer McGonagal and a black cat named Polka Dot (Dottie). I'm sure more names will present themselves as I learn more about her personality. Gulliver was brought home by my brother from church one night to be a barn cat and he climbed up onto my shoulder and into my heart. So regardless of the new leather couch at my parent's he was allowed to stay (currently laying against my thigh in bed). Dottie was found with her sister in the Arby's parking lot. My husband stopped when he saw her and I said, "We don't need another cat." Adorable, cuddly, lovey kittens are impossible to resist and that was all she wrote. Two are better than one anyway and now we have permanent Halloween decorations, (my favorite holiday). Currently, I am working on training them because contrary to popular belief, cats are smart and can learn many tricks. I'll keep you updated. It is just one of many things floating around in my brain tonight.

Drink and Be Merry
Onward I march through November eager for December and Christmas. Halloween was over too quick. I got to do the tricker treater thing for the first time from my own threshold. It was fun, but at one point I saw a tall hooded visitor and wondered, how do you know if all come for candy? I was glad to have another person with me to keep me safe. I was going to tell you that person was my husband, but then I didn't want you to get the idea that I needed a man to make me feel safe. It really was having another person there to help in case of an assault on my front door. It is a very dangerous holiday in my mind. Someone knocks and you open the door with no real way of knowing who it is, other than their size and are you going to ignore the door just because the shadow on your doorstep is a little taller than average? I suppose you must to be completely safe, but then we return to the phrase trick or treat. If I don't treat than I can almost assuredly wait for a trick by morning. No one destroyed our pumpkins and in my life that has only happened once when I was six, probably one of the worst ages for such a calamity. However, the house behind us was broken into, two police cars parked and searched our properties. It is strange how little authorities tell you, probably for safety, but it is alarming to see two sets of flashing lights and have no idea what is going on.
